Transwheels

Metters International offers a range of Transwheels. These are developed by a Korean company it represents, a special patented product available immediately for 2T, 3T and 5T fork lifts. The features of the product include the following: 50% less weight; no sliding; spin turn; lower fuel consumption; lower maintenance costs; longer product life. These transwheels are being used by major OEMs. Change of clutch disk becomes easy and fast because transmission function of conventional drive axle is now working in the wheel hub of transwheel TM. And change of parts such as pump, valve, torque converter and various kinds of hose also becomes simple due to enlarged power train room arising from elimination of transmission assembly. Technical advantages: increase of braking performance and durability for applying wet brakes; independent drive at both wheels makes minimum radius of gyration; slip prevention in ramp; auto parking brake at stopped engine; cost reduction through wheel-transmission; prevention of vibration and noise; and free style of design for engine and axle mounting.
