The strength of the plastic materials is very close to cast iron. The pulleys are available with and without metal insert [with pilot bore] to facilitate bore to your requirements. The profile in the tooling is done by CNC wire cutting hence ensures accurate profile of the pulleys. Low drive weight improves mechanical efficiency. The pulleys are available ex-stock in standard sizes as per catalogue [available on the company’s website]. The company can modify a standard pulley or manufacture custom made pulleys for specific requirements. The pulleys are used in textile winders, special purpose machines, paper folding machines, conveyors, etc., where zero backlash speed transmission is required.
