Pulleys

Light Lift Industries is an ISO 9001: 2000 certified company engaged in the manufacture and export of hand tools, and a wide range of material handling equipment. The company offers pulleys in an all-steel frame. The hook is made of forged heavy steel to enable it to withstand shocks due to load rotation. The load chain is made of grade 80 steel. This is later formed, tested and calibrated as per IS 3109-P-11. Heavy-duty alloy steel castings are used to make the load wheel. The hand chain is made of grade 30 steel, and gears are of alloy steel duly hardened for longer life. The pulley has an automotive positive load-brake, which is of a self-sustained disc type. Safety being of prime importance, each pulley block is tested up to 50% over and above the working load. Hence a certificate issued for a one-tonne pulley block has necessarily undergone a test for 1½ tonnes.
