Ferro Foundries offers a hydraulic pallet truck, Model Tiger 2000. The fame and forks are made of heavy duty formed steel, with jig welded frame and double flanged pressed steel forks. This gives girder strength to each fork, which is built to make equipment rigid for rugged use and to take the punishment of continuous heavy usage. The ram and pump plunger of the hydraulic cylinder is ground to high precision and hard chrome plated for wear and corrosion resistance and longer life of the seals. Smooth lowering of the load is assured by means of a safety valve, that regulates lowering speed independent of the load. The oscillating front axle ensures permanent four-point ground contact. The wheels are standard cast iron with a choice of ultra high molecular polymer or rubber moulded cast iron wheel. The steering has taper roller bearings for top and bottom of pump mounting with 180? steer wheel rotation.
