Hydraulic Pallet Truck

Ferro Foundries offers Hydraulic Pallet Truck, Model Tiger 2000. The frame and forks are made of heavy-duty formed steel, jig welded frame and double flanged pressed steel that gives twin girder strength to each fork, which is built to make equipment rigid for rugged use and to take the punishment of continuous heavy usage. The ram and pump plunger of the hydraulic cylinder is ground to high precision and hard chrome plated for wear and corrosion resistance and longer life of the seals. The safety valves assure smooth lowering of the load, by regulating the lowering speed independent of the load. Dual overload safety valve protects against damage to the truck from overloading: one is the pressure relief valve that allows the oil to by-pass, if the load limit is surpassed; the other is the high limit valve that allows by-pass at full lift and guards against annoying top jamming. The oscillating front axle ensures permanent four point ground contact to minimise stress in structure at safer loads. The wheels are of standard cast iron with choice of ultra high molecular polymer wheel or rubber moulded cast iron wheel. Front wheel of size 200 mm dia x 50 mm width is fitted on sealed ball bearings to reduce rolling resistance. The rear wheel 85 mm dia x 100mm width is fitted on sealed ball bearings for least rolling resistance. The steering has adequate taper roller bearing for top and bottom of pump mounting and 180º steer wheel rotation assures easy manoeuvrability. Maintenance is reduced to a minimum by the use of oil impregnated bronze bushes in all the pivoted points. The loop handle drawbar is counter-balanced by spring returns in upright position when truck is not in use, therefore no risk of accident by obstructing handle. Closed loop handle protects the hands and prevents the catching of clothes and objects.
