Goliath & Semi Goliath Cranes

Goliath and semi goliath cranes may be a single girder or double girder cranes, but they differ from EOT cranes, since they move on the rails fixed at ground level as compared to rails fixed at the height for EOT cranes. These are invariably used for outdoor duty and are among the most ideal material handling equipment to handle heavy loads in open yard. Goliath cranes are overhead structures with hoisting machines mounted on a frame or structure. These are generally desired for outdoor application and used at timber/steel yards, cement pipe industries, construction industries, stockyards, dams, etc.
