Floor Operated Stacker Crane

Elmech Equipment Company offers a range of material handling equipment. `Indef’ floor operated stacker crane (FOS) is a medium throughput, high density storage equipment. It can serve racks from 5 to 8 mtr. The FOS is a suspended structure running on rails. The rails can be rack or column supported. It has a double girder on which a crab assembly is mounted. A mast is suspended from crab, on which fork assembly slides. The fork slides vertically via a hoist attached to the crab. Motors on the crab and girder provide for the cross and long travel motion of FOS. The benefits are: minimum operating cost; direct access to each storage unit; single crane can directly serve multiple aisles/racks; fully electrical system; does not require skilled labour for operation; and flame proof models are available.
