Elevating Work Platform, Power Driven

Ferro Foundries offers a power driven Elevating Work Platform. This Tiger brand self-propelled work platform is highly-manoeuvrable and has controls for all motions located on the tap platform. It is designed for repositioning without return to ground level. The operators can raise and lower the platform, forward and reverse and steer the lift at any height-all with simple, responsive easy controls. Powered by heavy-duty deep cycle 24 V batteries, the Tiger can work beyond an 8-hour shift. The battery is accommodated in a slide out type compartment in the chassis to facilitate easy maintenance. The chassis also accommodates an easy-to-maintain heavy-duty built-in automatic battery charger which can be plugged into 220 V AC sockets. It consists of: protection of AC and DC circuits, tapering charging rate, ammeter and 24-hour timer control.
