Electric Vehicles

Callidai Motor Works manufactures Electric (battery powered) vehicles. They are Light Duty Electric Vehicles made as per customer specifications. It can build vehicles with capacity 750 kg inclusive of vehicle, rider and load. The vehicles use PMDC motors, PWM speed controllers and valve regulated lead acid batteries - all made in India. Speed of vehicles would be restricted to 16 kmph and most of these vehicles will not require registration, road tax and licence for use on roads in Tamilnadu. The company can also motorise (operate with battery) any vehicle up to 750 kg (from toys to platform trucks): toys, ice-cream carts, delivery tricycles, platform trucks, wheelbarrows, lawn mowers, factory inspection vehicles, airport passenger vehicles, airport/railways trolleys, amusement vehicles and any other vehicle similar to those mentioned.
