Compound Balanced Belt

The Compound Balanced Belt has right and left spirals fitted closely together for a smooth, dense weave, making it excellent for conveying very fine or small products as well as unstable or top-heavy items. It is often selected as baking bands or for unstable items needing very flat surfaces and considerable product support. The LK3 baking band is a compound balanced belt, which is used extensively in baking cookies, crackers and snack foods. The most widely used type of conveyor belt is the friction driven woven wire belt. It is driven entirely by frictional contact between the Belt surface and the drive roll surface. It is the most favourable combination of strength, cost, durability and maintenance.
