Chain Pulley Block, Short Head

This is of unique design, beneficial to low head rooms. The chain pulley block comes parallel to the girder thereby reducing the overall height. Wherever height is constraint this system works. The frame is rigidly built of steel plates welded construction with high factor of safety. Chains are alloy steel load type, Gr 80 as per IS-6216, electrically butt-wielded, accurately calibrated and duly heat-treated for ductility, toughness and wear resistance. Hand chains are electrically butt-welded, accurately calibrated which easily fit in sprockets of hand chain wheel, made of graded casting as per IS-210. The hooks are forged as per IS-8610 and fitted in upper-arm and bottom-block made out heavy-duty malleable casting/SG iron. For smooth running of the chain pulley block two ball bearings are provided. Load chain wheels are made of malleable/SG iron casting with accurate chain sprockets for smooth running of chain. Gears are made of nickel chrome alloy steel. The brake is of automatic screw and disc type whereby the pressure and sustaining power increases in proportion to load being lifted.
