Processplants Corporation manufactures Powerlift brand electric wire rope hoists. These are designed as per IS-3938 for class-II duty operation. Rope drum is manufactured from seamless pipe machined and grooved on working surface. The drum is supported on two deep groove ball/roller bearings. Ball/roller-antifriction bearings of reputed make, ie, SKF/FAG or equivalent are used on all rotating parts. Heavy-duty bearings are selected, so that rated life of bearings is not less than 9000 hrs. First and high speed reductions are through helical gears for efficient and smooth running of hoist. The design is modular, and hence maintenance is easy. All gears are oil immersed. The following additional features are available on request: flexible trolley suspension; low head room; creep speed; brake and limit switch on cross travel; and Class III duty hoists.
