Forum Hoist offers an electric wire rope hoist for easy handling of material handling. Features: the motor is a high torque squirrel conical rotor type crane duty unit, 220% and 290% starting and stalling torques - Class 'F' insulation - 40% CDF; The gearbox has precision spur gears made from alloy steel - supported on ball/needle bearings, grease lubricated; the hoist brake is electro mechanically operated -100% fail safe, conical disc type with high braking torque and easily adjustable; the wire rope drum is fabricated from tested plates - accurate grooving, supported on large diameter roller bearings at both ends with rope guide and tightener provided. The controls are panel boxes with IP54 protection mechanically and electrically interlocked contactors - low voltage control circuit with options of 24 V; he bottom block assembly has steel rope sheaves rotate on ball bearings, steel sheave guards and forged tested hook supported on thrust bearing; and the limit switch has direct acting push/pull arrangement - operated by the moving rope guide and actuator.
