Pick & Carry Crane

JCB India Limited has launched a new 15 T model of its Pick and Carry Crane, Liftall 1553, which can lift maximum load of 15 tonnes at a distance of 1.6 m from the centre of the front wheels. Liftall 1553 is with slotted boom, which provides more working radius and productivity due to its auto rope self-compensation mechanism. Best in class lLift: the Liftall 15T can lift a load of 5.2T up to a height of 13 m. This machine can carry out higher truss erection jobs and can stack a 40 ft container up to the 4th level with much ease, speed and safety than 12T models. This results in more annual usage of machine. Other highlights include: fuel efficient BS III Kirloskar diesel engine develops 49 bhp, consumes 15% less fuel; fitted with rugged straight axle mechanical transmission with reliable rear axle and crown wheel pinion; wider foot print ensures more stability even in case of high lifting duties; and spacious cabin ensures the operator comfort by ergonomic controls, insulated ceiling, better visibility and large tool box – which is sufficient for overnight sleep. This feature is particularly very important for the hirers, wherein the operator has to stay for months at the remote sites. The dust and waterproof European standard IP-69 electrical ensure no surprises, when the machine is required the most.
