Sumo Material Handling Systems offers a wide range of material lifts.
- These are used for transferring load from one level/floor to another in fabricated cages; the complete system includes a standard wire rope hoist, mounted on a supported I-beam, used to adjust height of the cage; supporting structure for such as cranes are designed and erected on the site
- The material handling lifts are completely independent of the building and can be installed inside or the outside of the building; fitted on the cage, the wheels run smoothly on the C-guides placed on both the sides of the cage
- Design – Sumo gantry/goliath cranes are having modular and compact design for low maintenance cost and easy to operate; motors – specially crane duty type suitable for frequent starting, reversing and braking in accordance with IS-325; motors are totally enclosed in dust proof construction foot/flange mounted TESC/TEFC, squirrel cage motors with integrated safety brakes, insulation class F, IP54 protection for hoisting, CT and LT motions
- Brakes – single/dual-disc/shoe electromagnetic/EHT brakes with features like automatic braking on power failure (fail safe); gearbox – made of accurate hob cut helical/spur gears and pinions having hardness 250 to 350 BHN made from carbon alloy steel; all gears and pinions running on antifriction type ball/roller bearings in totally enclosed oil bath giving constant splash lubrication
- The helical/spur gear designed for adequate strength and optimum wear resistance for smooth operation and long life; electrical panels – modular design, ease to install and maintain, reliable operation, fuse less circuitry, ducted wiring and compact terminals. motor overload protection to prevent overloading; and safety limit switches for stoppers will be provided to prevent over travelling in all motions.
