Goods Lifts

Safex Electromech offers Safex Goods Lifts in two types: a) Counter weight type; and b) Cage hoist type. Both are suitable for wall type canopy as well as self-supporting steel structure. Cage hoist type goods lift is the most popular design of Safex and proven in wide applications. The balancing weight type goods lift has lifting machine with drive pulley, helical gearbox, motor and brake. The lift is mounted at a height in the machine room and is of four-rope type, with each rope having four fall construction. This special arrangement is made considering heavy loading and continuous operation. This is an efficient design in comparison with the arrangement of passenger lift used in goods lift by most manufacturers. Every single rope has rated capacity with minimum 6 FS, which in four fall construction will provide four times the required FS. The cage is specially designed to suit customers’ requirements. The cage is made of rolled steel sections, and sides are covered with bumped sheets. Cage top is covered with MS sheets and bottom is covered with chequered plate for antiskid property. Collapsible doors are provided on cage as per entry and exit position. The cage is guided with rollers on T-guide rails. Anti-friction bearings are provided for smooth and efficient travelling with low friction and longer life. Operation is by push button station fixed outside the cage on respective floors, with adequate mechanical and electrical locking arrangement for safe operation. Additional gravity limit switch is provided for extra safety.
