Floor operated stacker crane

Mumbai-based Indef Marketing Services Ltd supplies floor operated stacker crane, which is a medium throughput, high-density storage equipment. This stacker crane has a suspended structure running on rails, which are rack or column supported. It has a double girder on which a crab assembly is mounted and the mast is suspended from crab with fork assembly sliding on it. This is a fully electrical system designed such that single crane can directly serve multiple aisles / racks and does not require skilled labour for operation. The fork of the stacker crane slides vertically via a hoist attached to the crab. Motors on the crab and girder enable cross and long travel motion of the floor operated stacker crane. It can serve racks of height ranging from 5 to 8 M. This product has direct access to each storage unit and results in minimum operating cost. These cranes are available in flameproof models.
