Double girder crane

Hi-tech Industries manufactures double girder EOT cranes with totally enclosed fan-cooled squirrel-cage motors confirming to IS: 325. The rope drum is driven through horizontal gearbox and provided with totally enclosed oil immersed gearbox with helical teeth. Cross-travel wheels are driven through squirrel cage slip-ring motor. Twin drive ensures long travel of more than 10-m span. Flexible geared coupling is provided for input and output connection. AC electro-magnetic/electro-hydraulic fail-to-safe shoe/disc type brakes ensure safety in case of power failure. The brakes are mounted externally on the rear end of the motor for easy maintenance. Snap-action type roller limit switches avoid over-hoisting and over-lowering actuated by rope guide. The control panel housed in sheet metal covering incorporates control transformers, relays and HRC fuses with proper ferruling. Single girder cranes, hot cranes, jib cranes and goliath cranes are the other types available.
