Vacuum Conveyor

Micronic Innovation Engineers offers for the first time in India, an indigenous Vacuum Conveyor designed for efficient, safe and convenient handling of dry powders for food and flavours industry, plastics, chemicals and pharmaceutical or paint industry. In fact, any powder, which is dry and oil free, can be handled. Screw conveyors with associated problems of maintenance, production time lag and contamination of ambient air in the work place causing labour sickness and inefficiency will become past history. Material transfer to any height for packaging, blending or further processing is smooth and least noisy. Better use of raw materials without any leakage increases efficiency, quality and reduces overall manufacturing cost. This vacuum conveyor consists of a vacuum pump, conveyor assembly, filtration unit, hopper cone, actuator and electro pneumatic control panel. The conveyor uses vacuum to pick up the dry powder though air operated vacuum pump. The air inside the powder feeding pipeline is evacuated by the pump causing the powder move into the pipe conveyor due to difference in pressure. Maximum conveying capacity of the basic model V 1000 is 1 tonne per hour and air requirement is 4.8 cfm at air pressure of 5-6 bar (g). The required lifting and transferring height can be suitably designed while supplying the machine. The conveyor is made of SS304 and the filter material used is antistatic polyester/PP. The machine can be considered virtually maintenance free as it needs only minimum maintenance. Depending on the bulk density of the material having no moisture or oil content. Higher transfer capacity can be accomplished by changing the diameter and height of the conveyor assembly along with pump.
