Doris (India) Engineers Private Limited designs and fabricates a wide range of Screw Conveyors. These find use in transportation of granular, pulverized and less frequently various small-size lumpy bulk materials to comparatively short distance (usually up to 40 m horizontally or to heights up to 30 m) in different industries like chemical, building materials and flour industries. Screw conveyors in modern industry are often used horizontally or at a slight incline as an efficient way to move semi-solid materials. These can have a greater pitch spacing, resulting in a higher capacity without an increase in rotation speed. They usually consist of a trough containing either a spiral coiled around a shaft, driven at one end and held at the other or a shaft less spiral, driven at one end and free at the other.
