Honey Comb Belts

Nibha manufactures flat wire (honey comb) belts, which are widely used in many industrial applications where positive driven belts are required. A sprocket drive provides a positive means of driving the belt, serves to keep the belt aligned and provides accurate synchronization of belt movement with other operations. They are most suitable for applications where loads are relatively light or when the distance between end pulleys is relatively short. As a rule of thumb, sprocket drive is best suited where the end roll distances, centre to centre are 50° or less. However, other factors may modify this for particular installations. When extra heavy duty flat wire (honey comb) belting is used, the maximum conveyor length may be extended to 100 ft.
