Assembly Conveyors

Aravali Engineers offers arrange of Assembly Conveyors. Conveyors are most useful for assembly operations. An assembly conveyor makes the process more efficient by bringing the work to the worker in a controlled (usually straight line) manner. It makes the assembly process more reliable by maintaining the takt time through slow speed movement or intermittent start/stop movement of the conveyor system. The assembly operation can be done on the conveyor, i.e. online or off the conveyor, i.e., offline. Online operation usually is carried out for smaller products with more skilled and experienced workers who are able to work well within the allowed time. All conveyor systems are helpful in maintaining good ergonomics and maintaining the takt time of the assembly line. A well balanced assembly line is possible largely by use of conveyors. Once optimum line balance has been achieved using the assembly conveyor the whole assembly line works like a synchronized machine. Conveyors undoubtedly become the lynchpin of this machine. Assembly conveyors are widely used for almost all types of product assemblies, a few of them being: automobiles; home appliances; mobile phones and accessories; LED lights and lighting fixtures; laptop and desktop computers; tablets; home inverters and UPS systems; LED and LCD TVs; industrial equipment; water purifiers; and many more. Especially for electronics and electrical appliances, assembly conveyors can be further integrated with other conveyors for testing and ageing of appliances with rework loops. At the final stage a packing line conveyor can also be integrated with this setup to make a seamless manufacturing setup from start to finish. Almost all types of conveyors can be used for assembly depending on the need of the process and the physical characteristics of the product. The various types of conveyors commonly used for assembly include – belt conveyors, free flow chain conveyors, chain conveyors, slat conveyors and roller conveyors.
