Ambica Plastics manufacture and offers strip pickling tanks for stainless steel that are polypropylene tanks. These tanks are used for stainless steel and titaniums strip pickling with mixed acids. Plastic tanks have become the standard for new shallow, turbulent type pickling lines as well as for replacing traditional steel tanks with dunking rolls in existing lines. They have special construction techniques for prolonging the life of polypropylene tanks in the very aggressive nitric and hydrofluoric acids.
