Spring Energised Seals & Compressor Seals

Fluorten s.r.l offers a range of PTFE products for industrial applications. Fluorten spring energised seals are composed by a jacket made of pure or filled PTFE or in other techno-polymers and are energized with a stainless steel spring. They are particularly suitable for applications where the resistance to aggressive chemical mixtures and to high working temperatures are an unconditional requirement. The industrial fields, in which mainly the energised PTFE gaskets are used, are: chemical, hydraulic, food-industry and ball valve sectors. For the compressor market Fluorten has developed during the years special PTFE compounds to increase the performance of seals and bearings in compressors having poor or absence of lubrication. For air compressors the company produces components made of natural and filled PEEK as well.
