O-Rings

Accurate Rubber Industries offers O-Rings. An O-ring is a torus, or doughnut shaped object, generally made from an elastomer, and used primarily for sealing in various kinds of seal applications and for light duty drive belts. An O-ring seal is a means for closing off a passageway preventing an unwanted escape of loss of fluids. The seal consists of an O-ring installed in a gland. An O-ring is exactly that -a circle ring in which the elastomeric material has a section that is virtually a circle. The gland is the cavity (usually within metal) in to which the O-ring is placed; the combination of these two elements comprises an O-ring seal. The company is engaged in manufacturing rubber components like o-rings, oil seals, diaphragms, hydraulic and pneumatic seals, gaskets, bellows, bush, rubber couplings, cords, tubes and sections from natural and synthetic rubbers, viz., fluorocarbon (FKM) or Viton®, silicone, chloroprene (CR) or Neoprene®, EPDM, Nitrile (NBR), butyl, hypalon, styrene butadiene (SBR) and natural rubber. Speciality polymers like hydrogenated nitrile rubber (H-NBR), carboxylated nitrile rubber (X-NBR), NBR-PVC, fluorosilicone (FVMQ), perfluoroelastomers (FFKM), isobutylene isoprene (IIR), fluoroelastomer (AFLAS®), ethylene acrylic (Vamac®); polyacrylate, epichlorohydrin (ECO) – Hydrin® and polyurethane (PU).
