Mechanical Shaft Seals

Atlanta Corporation manufactures Seals. Series AC-8000 seals are agitators seals with single balanced/unbalanced or double balanced/unbalanced seals in back to back, tandem or coaxial configuration, depending upon the working parameters. These products conform to international design standard like API 610, DIN 24960 and ISO 3069. The AC-8000 series are fitted in to rugged cartridge units, and spherical roller bearings or thrust bearings are provided to take up shaft run out. Special designs are available for vessel with side entry/bottom entry shaft and glass lined or enamelled vessels. The complete cartridge unit with seals and bearings is factory-assembled, with preset compression and tested for easy installation and start-up. Effective circulation of pressurised buffet fluid is necessary for lubrication and dissipation of frictional heat generated between the seal faces. This is achieved with the help of pumping screws thermo-syphon system, etc. Series AC 8000 Seals are offered for the following working conditions. Operating conditions - pressure range - vacuum to 100 kg/cm?; temperature range - cryogenics to 350?C; and shaft diameters - up to 250 mm.
