Combination of conventional seals can be like unbalanced/unbalanced, balanced/balanced and unbalanced/balanced as required. A compatible clean liquid with pressure higher than inside fluid pressure is circulated to reduce heat generated on the seal face. Its face materials and elastomers are available for wide service applications, with O rings as secondary shaft seal. Various seal face materials are available to suit different service conditions.
