Gasketing & Cushioning Pads

Stockwell Rubber Company's die-cut and fabricated fluorosilicone spongerubber gasketing and cushioning pads are available for aerospace and aviation related applications. The material, designated R10490-M, is available in 1/32"through 1/8"thicknesses. Aerospace dielectric coolant fluids conforming to Mil-C-47220, such as Coolanol 25R, attack traditional silicone rubber gasketing and materials. RI0490-M has been compounded to resist this fluid, along with jet fuels, engine and hydraulic oils. Gasketing is available with an Ultem film-supported silicone polymer adhesive backing or a Mylar supported acrylic adhesive on one side to aid assembly.
