Gasket

The Gylon Bio-Pro gasket is a controlled compression modified PTFE gasket for use in hygienic clamp fittings. This gasket is designed for FDA and bio processing type applications, is dimensionally stable and will not intrude into the pipe bore. Utilising Garlock's proprietary Gylon modified PTFE technology, the Gylon Bio-Pro gasket is compatible with a wide variety of chemicals and processing applications. The gasket is designed to withstand the rigours of clean-in-place (CIP) and sanitise-in-place (SIP) processes. This gasket withstands thermal cycling with temperatures ranging from 41°F (5°C) to 356°F (180°C) without clamp retightening, and maintains a gas-tight seal under vibration, misalignment and thermal cycling, eliminating premature ageing and gasket creep.
