Ceramic Paper/Felt is an amazing alternative for high temperature Gaskets. Ceramic Gaskets offer heat resistivity of more than 1260 Deg C. However they handle pressure extremely poor. They generally do not recommend Ceramic Gaskets for pressure above 5 Bar. Additionally, due to the porosity of the Gasket, this can only be used for Exhaust, Air Ductlines sealing only. It is more of an Insulating seal rather than a pure Sealing Gasket.
