Agitator Seals

Global Seal Tec offers Agitator Seals. Agitator Mechanical Seals are designed on various systems used for Agitating, Mixings and blending the products. Agitator Mechanical Seals usually performs on equipment with heavy shafts and low speed. The design incorporates bearing located very close to the seal. This standard feature effectively arrests the shaft whip for smooth and trouble free operation enabling enhanced seal life. The cooling jacket, also a standard feature, helps to maintain cool environment around the seal. Large clearance between rotating shaft/sleeve and mating ring permits higher deflection of the shaft. These seal are successfully used for many years in all kind of mixer, reactors, paints and pulps etc. these seals can be easily installed without disturbing the delicate mating faces. GST-AGS-009 Global Sealtec agitator seals are specially designed for use in various equipment such as reactors used in chemicals and bulk drugs (API) manufacturing, agitators, mixers, blowers etc. The Seal unit is supplied in cartridge condition, pre-assembled and pre-set to required working dimensions which can be slide on the shaft and bolted to the vessel flange. These seals are available with or without bearings and can be provided with cooling jackets in case of high temperature. In case of double seals faces shall be provided with circulation of pressurised fluid barrier in the seal chamber as per AIP plan 53 or 54. For higher pressure applications balanced seals are provided.
