AGITATOR MECHANICAL SEALS: RAG SERIES

Reliable Industries manufactures Agitator Mechanical Seals, RAG Series. It is used for agitators, mixers, vessels, driers, mills and reactors in plastic, paint, food and pharmaceutical. This is a multiple spring and externally mounted, balanced un-balanced non-elastomer seal with elastomer as secondary sealing member. This seal doesn"t require any lubrication to the faces, hence it is known as dry running seal. Metallic parts are protected to come in contact with pumping liquid, which make it easy to use in acidic services also. The various versions are available in agitator mechanical seals they are back to back seals, tandem double seals for high pressure autoclaves, bottom and side entry double seals, dry single and double seals, single externally reverse balanced seals, co-axial double seals. Operating limits: shaft diameter - 20...150 mm; pressure - 16 bar; temperature - -20...200°C; V - 10 m/s; material of construction - face materials silicon carbide, tungsten carbide, ceramic (99.5%), carbon, stellite cast chrome steel; and secondary seal - elastomers, non elastomers. Applications: pulp and paper, food processing, mixers, driers, pharmaceutical, reactors, pant industry and other general applications handles al fluids.
