Wood Adhesive, Water Resistant

Surfactant Industries has launched Starke, a new generation Water Resistant Wood Adhesive with very high water resistance, one of the first in India. This one-component wood adhesive has excellent water resistance in comparison to conventional white wood adhesives. The product has been developed in close association with Dr Herbert Eck of Germany who is an author of more than 100 adhesive related patents. Starke is primarily targeted at carpenters, interior decorators, contractors, handicraft manufacturers, furniture industries, exporters and householders. It is an internationally accepted product with great results on all types of wood, both soft as well as hard. It has been specially formulated for multipurpose wood bonding applications like wood to wood, ply to wood, decorative laminates, veneers, MDF, etc. It offers many advantages over normal wood adhesive like water proof bonding, higher coverage, fast setting, increased productivity, etc. Since so far water resistant wood glue market has been dominated by international players, Starke serves as an import substitute with lot of advantages for the customers. The company has a rich background of technical expertise in chemical manufacturing for last 60 years. Its day-to-day operations are run by a professional team of chemical engineers backed with German support, whose main motto is to offer superior and innovative products to customers at very reasonable prices. The product has also been tested at Europe’s leading wood laboratory SHR situated in The Netherlands and Starke was found to comply with EN 204/205 D3 standards.
