Frenzelit has been developing and manufacturing textiles, which are capable of withstanding high temperatures, for more than 50 years. Application temperature limit is 1050?C (1100?C for a short time), and special SiO2 glass fibres that withstand high temperatures are the basic material for these products. Their characteristic properties are low thermal conductivity, minimum heat storage, and absolute incombustibility. Type isoTHERM S/ST does not irritate the skin, is absolutely harmless to health, and has excellent chemical resistance properties. Features: filament diameter 6-9 ?m; incombustible (based on DIN 4102); loss due to shrinkage/version S<8%; loss due to shrinkage/version ST<3%; and SBG approval for all woven fabrics. Application areas: automotive; heating and air conditioning; process industry; shipbuilding; power industry; machine manufacturing and plant engineering; electrical appliance industry and safety engineering.
