Sealant for Thermal Spray Coating Parts

Diamant Triumph Metallplastic Pvt Ltd has introduced a single component polymer, Diamant Dichtol, for use as an after coat on thermal spray coated surfaces to seal fine hairline porosities up to 0.5 mm and with temperature resistance up to 500ºC after curing. This is an on-site micro-porosity sealant for thermal spray coating parts. Dichtol is available in various grades based on properties required and is available in 500 ml, 1 ltr and 5 ltr pack sizes with a shelf life of over 1 year. The material has been tested and found to successfully seal porosities on site without the use of special equipment. Dichtol can be applied by brush, spray, pour or inject allowing all kinds of geometries to be treated. A number of thermal spray coating companies have tried and tested Dichtol for their applications with very successful results.
