RUBBER SEALANTS, EPDM

Plastic Engineering & Electronic Enterprises have developed EPDM rubber sealants in the form of thick Sealite brand mastic and a thinner Plastiset brand gun grade sealant. The mastic can be moulded and shaped by hand and is useful for filling large or small gaps or grooves, etc. All types of roofing sheets and also around window frames, etc. The gun grade sealant, Plastiset, is a free flowing material, packed in disposable plastic cartridges of 1/2 kg or 100 gm, in aluminium collapsible tubes, and is popular for sealing narrow gaps between window frames and masonry, partitions, curtain-walling, glazing, roof sheets, panels, etc. Both these materials finally set into a high quality EPDM rubber, well known for its high resistance to all weathering conditions, including UV rays and sunlight, ozone, oxygen, salt spray or polluted atmosphere, etc. EPDM is also completely fungus resistant.
