These tapes are most convenient, economical, chemically inert and highly effective anti leakage system of sealing threaded joints in chemical, fertilizer, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, or any other industrial as well as domestic applications. These tapes are manufactured from premium grade?pure virgin polymer?PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) having highly versatile chemical resistance, thermal properties, frictional behaviour and sealing characteristics. Sterling PTFE tapes can be used with all types of materials such as steel, iron, aluminium, brass, monel, hastalloy, plastics, glass, ceramic or rubber and has qualified successfully for use under many codes related to toxic, hazardous, flammable, absorbent, hygienic, radiation, vacuum, magnetic and domestic fields. These tapes are manufactured on most advanced manufacturing plant and stringent quality norms are followed to ensure zero defect quality. Available in standard widths/lengths/thickness as per BS4375.
