Pre-Applied Thread Locking & Thread Sealing

Microloc precoated adhesive systems are solvent based, encapsulated, user-friendly acrylic based, ambient curing adhesives suitable for preventing vibration loosening of threaded fasteners. These precoated adhesives are well designed to form uniform coating on the fasteners. This coating process converts ordinary fasteners into user-friendly self-locking fasteners. Dry to the touch, Microloc precoated adhesives become integral part of the fastener and remain inert until the shearing action takes place. During shearing, the microcapsules break and release the adhesive, which will eventually polymerise into a tough cured polymeric network. This polymeric network formed between the mating fasteners works just in the same way a polymer formed from conventional liquid type anaerobic adhesives. This locks and seals the parts against vibration loosening and shock. Features: ideally suitable for high volume applications; totally eliminates on-line applications; no wastage and no spillage; dry-to-touch makes the product ideally suitable for operator handling; less assembly time; provides sealing against gases and fluids; excellent chemical and oil resistant; provides uniform stress distribution.
