Insulating Tape, Self-Amalgamating

Twin Tech India, an ISO 9001:2000 company, offers self-amalgamating insulating tape, specially prepared for electrical and electronic industries, panel makers, projects, electrical contactors, electrical utilities, etc. Features: excellent electrical properties such as superior volume resistivity, higher breakdown voltage; excellent resistance to polluted atmosphere, saline water and weather; excellent self amalgamating properties and exceptional ozone resistance; beneficial when compared with PVC heat shrinkable sleeves or PVC tape; and will not crack or separate with expansion or contraction stress. This product is amazingly useful. Benefits: seals out moisture and contaminants, etc; non-ageing, water proof, high temperature; and available in black colour only. Applications: automatic wrapping, electrical insulation, moisture protection, high or low temperature applications; replacement of heat shrinkable tapes/sleeves; can even be applied underwater; busbars, overhead service connections, jumper wires, transformer connections, for wrapping of HT bare conductors where frequent bird fault may occur and also in urban areas, where it is hazardous to human; and for making weatherproof joints for telecommunication cable. How to use: clean and degrease the surface thoroughly by using any solvent residue-less cleaner. The tape contains plastic liner – stretch 25-30% and wrap with moderate tension with half overlap. Apply last lap with zero stretch. Press down to avoid end lifting before fusion takes place. The tape will start amalgamating within 1-2 hours and full amalgamation within 24 hours. Packing: 1 roll – 38 mm x 0.76 mm x 9.1 mtrs.
