Epoxy adhesive are regarded as the strongest adhesive available and have wide industrial use as structural (load bearing) adhesives. These are thermosetting adhesives, which solidify through chemical reactions. These chemical reactions take place either at room temperature or at elevated temperatures. These chemically reacted and solidified epoxy materials will only soften but do not melt on heating.
