Contact Tapes

Hindustan Platinum Private Limited offers a range of Contact Tapes. Available in various shapes and sizes, contact tapes are normally composites with a backing of weldable copper suitable for resistance welding and a contact face of silver and silver alloys. These tapes are manufactured in a range of weld projections, usually in the form of single and multiple rails. They can be welded onto a terminal or spring material. Laminated tapes are available in single or double corner inlay, edgelay, overlay, inlay, throughlay or toplay. Contact stampings, made in die sets, eliminates problems associated with many contact assemblies. Moreover, such materials require less vertical space in contrast with conventional contact assemblies. Drawing and designs of the laminated tapes or punched parts are in accordance with customers’ specifications.
