Uptodate Plastics and Packagings, an ISO 9001:2000 certified unit, manufactures hot melt adhesives and pressure sensitive hot melt adhesives for industrial applications such as automobile lamps, packaging, book binding, lamination, edge banding, DIY, etc. These products are available in standard forms, e.g., granules, blocks, release coated cartons, etc. The company has a special range of warm melt adhesives which are extremely well suited for use in food packaging, case and carton sealing, bottle labelling, graphic arts and a vast range of other products. Its range of sprayable hot melt adhesives is environment friendly as well as economical when compared with solvent-based adhesives. Sprayable hot melt adhesives are being used internationally especially in the leather and shoe industry as well as in the packaging industry. Similarly, rear-view mirrors for automobiles are assembled using sprayable hot melt adhesives. The company has developed several grades of hot melt adhesives for food packaging. It has set up India’s first large scale, state-of-the-art glue stick manufacturing plant for catering to both domestic and international markets. Hot melt glue sticks of international quality are now being manufactured right here in India.
