Cross Filament Tapes

Ral Industries offers Cross Filament Tapes. The Filament tapes are used in packaging applications. Also known as strapping tapes, these are pressure sensitive tapes widely used in several packaging processes such as closing corrugated fiber board boxes, reinforcing packages, Bundling items, Heavy Duty Packaging etc. There is a pressure sensitive adhesive material coated onto a backing material that is generally a polypropylene or polyester film and fiberglass. To make the tapes high in their tensile strength, filaments are embedded on the material.
