Sweeping Machine

TPS Manufacturing & Construction Company offers an indigenous sweeping machine, developed and built with experience based on imported machines. The self-propelled, ride-on type machine models TPS-Vacsweep-2D and 3D and truck mounted sweeping machine model TPS-Vacsweep-750D, are designed and adapted to Indian working conditions/dust loads. Traditionally, manual labour is deployed for sweeping the plant and colony roads. During manual sweeping, more than 50% of the dust gets airborne and the same settles down on the road. This impairs the cleaning efficiency substantially and continues to be a nuisance due to wind and vehicular movement. In effect the cleaning job remains incomplete. Further the airborne dust is poses health hazards not only to the sweepers, but also to the passer-by. There is also a tendency on part of the sweepers to push the material cement/coal breeze, other raw material dust, litter, paper, etc, into the drain along the plant roads. While apparently the road appears clean, the drains in the process get choked and the effects are visible during monsoons. As such with sweeping machines cleaning shall not only be pollution free cleaning but also the collected material can be recycled or dumped at earmarked place. The above sweeping machines have sweeping width from 1300 mm to 3300 mm and the sweeping speeds from 4 km to 12 km per hour. The large container capacity in the above machines ensure that the machine is not required to move to and fro, to dump point frequently.
