Metal Cleaning System, Hermetic Type

Supersonic offers a Hermetic Type Metal Cleaning System to achieve multiple cleaning operations in single chamber under vacuum. Key features of the system include: high degree of cleanliness, spotless drying, negligible chemical consumption almost zero pollution, haphazard loading and many more. The systems are very compact, more than 50 software sequence programming cycle in PLC. Any type of component and any type of cleaning results are achieved till Millipore values in this system. These machines can be used for cleaning of contaminants like grease, oil, dust, oxidations, buffing compounds, swarf, etc., which dissolve in the cleaning media. Spotless surface finish is achieved after drying. As drying is done under vacuum the energy required to dry the components is very less and oxidation is also not a problem. Three basic models are available in this, solvent based, hydrocarbon based and water based. The basket with loaded components either swings or rotates in the chamber. Depending upon the complexity of the job the basket movement is decided. Ultrasonic is also used in this. These machines give the highest consistency cleaning results because the chemical is continuously filtered, distilled and used for the next cleaning cycle. The make up or top up of the chemical is negligible. Since it is a closed loop circuit, there is no exposure of chemicals to atmosphere; hence the emission is practically negligible (20 mg/m3). The operator can do various other jobs as there is time between cycles. The payback period of the system is excellent.
