Microedge Electronics offers Yarn Production Monitors. Number of weigh scales, either mechanical or electronic, is used for weighing material in spinning mills. The material weighed ranges from raw cotton to the finished product-yarn, including the waste generated during the process. The weighment recording system is ideally suited for spinning mills where right from the issue of cotton to the despatch of yarn, every weighment can be recorded online and reports are generated automatically. Intelligent terminals are used, next to weigh scales in various sections of the production unit. The actual raw material input to each section is weighed and registered in the terminal. All the intelligent terminals are networked and connected to a central computer for online recording. A Windows based weighment recording software at the PC collects and collates all weighment data"s and generates MIS reports. The actual flow of material through the production process, the quantity and type of waste generated in each section and the efficiency of each section are available online at the central computer. Advantages: saves money due to reduction of wastage, by continuous monitoring and taking corrective steps.
