Wumag Texroll thermo-fixing and stretching machines are an important part of modern finishing concepts for technical textiles. They serve as a central tool for dimensional heat setting and stabilisation of synthetic fibre fabrics, such as:

• Filter Fabrics
• Conveyer belts
• Carrier fabrics for laminating or coating
• Printing blankets
• Airbag fabrics
• Forming belts

Moreover, they enable efficient stretching or contraction of the fabric in longitudinal direction with a perfect alignment on the thermoil- or steam heated stretching rolls. The fabric is finished “roll to roll” - an innovative process, which offers considerable improvements:

• Easy finishing of fabrics sensitive to misalignment.
• Defined tension control in the direction of fabric passage.
• Defined stretching or contraction in the direction of fabric passage.
• Highly efficient heat treatment at several exactly settable process temperatures.
• The complete stretching and fixing process is carried out in one run with individual temperature ranges exactly settable within 1°C.
• This means less temperature stress for the fabric.
• This procedure results in enormous power savings as no heating-up or cooling-down for a single roll is necessary and the plant is equipped with heat protection, too.
• The tension can be regulated in detail and therefore the stretching or shrinkage process in direction of fabric can be defined accurately.
• No needless clamping and sewing works anymore.
• Therefore non-productive time will be decreased drastically.
• Considerably compact construction allows saving of hall capacities in comparison with conventional plants.
• Delivered machines with up to 8 m working width, maximum possible working width is 14 m.
• Stretching force up to 2 tons/m.
