Industrial Filters & Fabrics Pvt. Ltd. offers Meta Aramid Filter Fabric. Meta-aramid is recommended where operating temperatures are quite high i.e. of the order of 200 °C. Its distinctive thermal dimensional stability is illustrated by the fact that at 200°C the residual shrinkage potential of the fibre is below 1%. Nomex is the brand name of meta-aramid fibre from Dupont. Though the temperature resistance is good but like other fibres, they are also susceptible to hydrolysis, which can be enhanced to some extent by fluorocarbon treatments.
