8" Straight blade cloth cutting machine

These are elegant, sturdily built to cut the thickest of cloth materials like cotton, silk, synthetic, vinyl, plastic, leather, denim, corduroy, jute and canvas. These eliminate the tedious, time-consuming conventional method of manual cutting, giving way to new improved cutting quality. The machine operates on a single-phase motor and consists of a cutting unit; and a knife-sharpening unit that gives a finely honed edge to the cutting blade on the touch of a control lever/button. The low profile base-plate drastically reduces fabric distortion and drag. The close fitting wing of the base-plate easily slips under the bottom ply without catching or snagging the cloth. The motor cooling fan dissipates heat build-up and directs the hot air-flow away from the operator. Opening handle and lever are positioned for maximum convenience; the automatic sharpening unit can sharpen the blade only when lever is pressed down, ensuring safety.
