Star Gel Pickling Paste / Pickling Gel

Star Gel comes in gel form and is used for cleaning weld seams and surrounding areas with brush. It is also used for removing heavy scales, annealing colours, discolouration, rust particles near weld and welding-affected area by heat. It helps in detecting pinholes after welding. Star Gel is stain-free and does not impart yellow or black stains after washing with water. Moreover, it does not necessarily demand separate passivation chemical process. "STAR Gel (Pickling paste / Pickling Gel form)" is used to clean weld seams and surrounding areas. It is applied with brush without doing wire brushing or grinding or buffing. Application Method: Apply "STAR Gel " on Stainless Steel welded seam & nearby area with nylon bristles brush. Give contact time of 5 to 30 minutes depending on grade & thickness of SS and temperature of SS surface. Then, wash with water properly with pressurised water jet spray or light scrubbing with plastic scubber (if required) & water . And, get totally silvery white surface without grinding or buffing.

Coverage: Approx. 90 to100 meters of weld seam per kg.
